Okay Mason...

...here's a deal.

You can stay in my belly for as long as you like (or until the dr says you have to come out)...if it allows enough time for your digestive system to mature,
and you don't need to use any of these.

i love you

update: okay, you can use some of these...
but let's go for LESS than Olivia :)

Activity Center

Happy 3 Month Birthday Miss Olivia! It's crazy to think of all the changes we've experienced since December. It's been an exciting, fun and yes, sometimes overwhelming time in our lives. For O's birthday, we gave her an activity center. It's really important after her feedings that she remains upright to help with digestion and minimize the effects of reflux. However, it gets exhausting to hold her or put her in the front carrier all the time...so the activity center gives us a slight break. She's still too small for it, but it works perfectly for us to stand her in it and enjoy her company face to face :) Olivia likes the sun, although the dragon is a little scary!! (see below)

3 Month Update

Olivia is GROOOOOOWING! We had a weight check at the pediatrician and our big girl is up to 10 pounds 12 ounces!!!! WhoopWhoop! She has gained 2 pounds in one month! The doctor also changed O's meds for the acid reflux. I'm hoping it will help with her sleeping. We are thrilled about her weight gain :) :)

We also had Miss O's photo taken again by Kris Evans. We have a lovely baby plan with her and will have pictures from newborn, three months, six months, nine months and one year. Miss Evans was extremely patient, as Olivia was not in the mood to be photographed...but she still managed to get pictures that are absolutely adorable. Click on "THREE MONTHS" to see the newest photos!! :)

Swimming

Jerry just discovered a new swimming hole and it's right in our own backyard! We put his kennel on the side of our house and it got filled with rain water. Now when we look outside and can't find Jerry, we know he is playing in his "pool".

Today I managed to go to the gym again (go me)!! This time it was a little easier to leave Miss O, but she was sound asleep...so I was hoping that she would stay that way. I worked out for 30 minutes (yes, that's longer than 20!!) and when I went back to the childcare area, I found Olivia in a teacher's arms spitting up. I got closer I saw that the teacher had spit up all over her shirt too. Ooopss...forgot to give the disclaimer about Olivia and her spit up.

Happy Sister

Erin called me this morning from England to tell me great news.... Kevin and her are getting a NEW COMPUTER! We will be able to communicate again :) I felt a little lost knowing Erin wasn't around to read my emails. I'm already sketching in gmail chat time with her tomorrow! Wahoo!!

Today Tiffini (w/Aubrey), Jude and Chris all came over for lunch. I burnt the angel food cake...ugh, but discovered that if you pick off the burnt parts...it still tastes delicious. It was nice to get together and catch up. They also got to visit with Miss O (who was sporting a beautiful new dress from my mom...aka Grandma...thank you).

Yesterday she had a difficult day keeping down her food, but (knock on wood) so far today she's doing really well! I'm considering switching to formula soon. I've heard from multiple people that once they switched to formula their baby fattened up!!
