aaawww...got to watch a four month old golden retriever. Lucy joined Coopers family. Super sweet to visit with a puppy.....and then give it back after a few days :)

A huge thank you to Grana and Grampa for treating our kiddos to their own incredible vacation while we were gone. They got haircuts, went shopping, went out to eat, made meals, saw a movie, visited the library, sea world TWICE, the zoo, splashed in the pool, and played games. Seriously appreciate knowing our kids are having the time of their lives and not missing us at all!

Belize - Day 4

Today is our last full day :( The sun was out and we hit the beach immediately. And proceeded to roast...

That evening we went back to our favorite place (The Dive Bar) and enjoyed another wonderful meal. The night ended on the beach with music and a little tree climbing.

Belize - Day 3

Hello Tropical Wave!! Woke up and it was still pouring...however, it didn't slow us down one bit. We played games, went to lunch at the resort, and by mid-afternoon it started to clear up. Alana and I hung by the pool while the guys went sailing. and then we tried a little paddleboarding. That evening we went to another resort for dinner. Of all the places I've vacationed, the food we've had has been EXCELLENT.

Belize - Day 2

We spent the morning laying by the beach, boys went fishing, and then back to the dive bar for lunch again. It was pretty cloudy today, a tropical wave was getting ready to visit us.

That evening we traveled into town to enjoy a dinner out. And while we were there, the sky opened and it started pouring. Let's not forget that our mode of transportation home was a golf cart!!! haha...needless to say we were DRENCHED by the time we made it back.

Belize - Day 1

YES!! Super excited to travel with our dear friends. This time we are headed to Belize, staying at La Terrazas Resort.

Our room is a suite, with three bedrooms, two baths and a living/kitchen/dining room. We also have a balcony. This is our first not all inclusive vacation, but we came prepared. We had one suitcase full of clothes and the other suitcase tim called the walmart suitcase. It was stuffed with snacks. And we stocked up on various drinks at the duty free in the airport.

We took an plane to Belize City, a tiny puddle jumper airplane to san pedro....a shuttle to get to a boat that took us to the resort in ambergris caye. Then once at our resort we rented a golf cart and this is what we would use for the remainder of our vacation to travel everywhere. We ate lunch at the Dive Bar...highly recommend it if you ever travel there.

We obviously enjoyed some drinks, a little swimming, and ate at another bar where writing on tables is encouraged.

Day Before Our Wedding

June 13, 2003

First was my bridal luncheon, at the Freemason Abbey. Then that evening, Tim's parents hosted a perfect evening enjoying dinner and drinks while cruising the Norfolk Harbor. Afterwards we went back to the hospitality suite where we played beer pong and had a contest to see how many cheese balls could be stuffed in our mouths?!
